Our own site measurement

In addition to Google Analytics, we keep our own usage log for this site, hosted on servers in the European Union, to understand which pages are visited and which contact buttons are used.

  • If you do not accept analytics cookies: we only count visits and clicks anonymously. We do not store your IP address, we do not use cookies or store anything on your device, and it is not possible to identify you or link one visit to another.
  • If you accept analytics cookies: we store a random identifier (mr_medicion) in your browser's local storage, which tells us which page you entered through, where you came from and which pages you visited before getting in touch. It does not contain your name, phone number or IP address.
  • If you also accept advertising cookies: we store the identifier of the Google Ads ad you arrived from, to understand which ads lead to enquiries.

This data is kept for 12 months; after that the identifiers are deleted and only anonymous counts remain. If you withdraw your consent, the identifier is removed from your browser on your next visit to any page. The identifier is renewed every 12 months. As we do not know who you are, to exercise your rights of access or erasure over this data you will need to give us that identifier (you will find it in your browser's local storage, under mr_medicion) by writing to [email protected].
